Randy Diaz serves as Clinical Director at CDX, overseeing detoxification and residential treatment services. With more than 28 years of experience in behavioral health, he specializes in working with adults and individuals facing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. His leadership ensures that clinical services remain evidence-based, structured, and responsive to the complex needs of clients entering treatment.
Professional Background
Randy is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) and Certified Clinical Supervisor-Intern (CSI). Throughout his career, he has focused on integrated treatment models that address substance use disorders alongside co-occurring psychiatric conditions, family dynamics, and reintegration planning.
He views substance use disorder as a chronic, treatable brain disease that affects the whole person — biologically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. For Randy, recovery is not simply abstinence; it is the process of building a meaningful, self-directed life supported by accountability, connection, and purpose.
Under his clinical leadership, detox and residential programming emphasizes:
- Integrated dual diagnosis care
- Evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Skill development for sustainable recovery
- Family involvement and systems work
- Community reintegration planning
Approach to Client Care
Randy believes each client is far more than a diagnosis. He recognizes that every individual possesses inherent strengths, resilience, and capacity for change. His role is to help clients identify those strengths, address barriers, and develop the practical life skills necessary to maintain long-term recovery.
His approach balances clinical structure with encouragement, empowering clients to take ownership of their journey while providing the guidance and accountability needed to build lasting change.
